 Cosmetic Safety Assessment Ltd. is a small, newly formed company, dedicated to the needs of the small scale producer, and those starting out in the cosmetics industry.
The company was set up by Scott Grainger, a Charted Chemist who also
ran his own small natural cosmetics business for a number of years,
before returning to the lab and a subsequent career as a safety
assessor.
Running his own business has provided Scott with a unique insight into
the needs of the small scale producer, and the main aim of Cosmetic
Safety Assessment ltd. is to provide a product certification service
that satisfies the legal requirements relating to the sale of cosmetic
products in the UK and Europe, at a price that falls within the reach
of even the smallest producer.
Scott still has an active interest in cosmetic formulation, and is
happy to offer free advice on all aspects of ingredient chemistry,
safety and legislation to members of the Fresholi community and is an
active forum member. He has recently joined the advisory panel of the
Guild of Craft Soap and Toiletry Makers, and is looking forward to
sharing his expertise with members of this important sector of the
cosmetics manufacturing community.
